This was brought to my attention by the ever-vigilant Sean. Apparently, the Associated Press wants to charge bloggers for quoting excerpts from AP stories of five words or more. AND, if you pay for the "license" to quote more than 5 words, but they don't LIKE how you use the experpt, they want to be able to revoke the license.
How can they do this? Can a media company actually make up new rules regarding how open media is used? And enforce them? For real???
For some reason I can't get my head around this at all!

That's along the same lines as the internet providers charging home users for bandwidth usage now. Just when I figure out how much fun YouTube is, they are going to make my surfing more expensive.
